STEM Program Funded by SofterWare Employee

For SofterWare’s Client Relations Manager Susan Guggenheim, reading is essential. She has helped fund “If You Can Read, You Can Do Anything”, a STEM program in Germantown for kids ages 8 to 10. A tribute to Susan’s mother, the program brings children into the public library and teaches them about the fundamentals of science. The students learn about light and electricity and get hands on practice, imitating sunrise and sunset and even making their own sundials. Each Friday, the kids get a certificate with Susan’s mother’s name and the name of the program on it. In addition to donating, Susan volunteers at the program routinely, helping children get a jumpstart on STEM learning.
